Around in the world in 30 hours … yes, 30!

We departed Boston on the 28th of January. The first leg of the trip (7 hours to Los Angeles) was fairly uneventful. In flight entertainment was limited, but the kids had Fruit Loops so all was right in their world.

Lunch at LAX, although very un-Californian we scoffed down giant hamburgers - our last fill of American food!

The second leg, Los Angeles to Tokyo, was a little more trying. Mama Aldous got air sick seven hours in. If only throwing up in Japan was on my  bucket list. Thankfully Michael was on point and the children were fabulous little travellers who slept and enjoyed the in flight entertainment and lots of snacks.

We arrived in Singapore at approximately 3:30am on January 30th, relatively unscathed. Right away we were able to see how efficient, clean and aesthetically “perfect” everything seems. We waited in no lines, had no problem finding our way around, and got to our new home a half an hour early!
Stay tuned for scenes from 18 Marina Boulevard!
